# Pindrop

Pindrop is a web application for local lead generation. A user searches a trade and a
city, gets a scored list of businesses with the specific problem found on each website,
then sends a first email that references that finding. It is built for agencies and
freelancers selling web, SEO or marketing services to businesses that have no in-house
marketing.

## What it does

- Searches Google Places by category, city and radius, returning ratings, review counts,
  addresses, phone numbers and website links.
- Opens each business's website and records measurable faults: largest contentful paint,
  whether the layout holds on a phone, and whether LocalBusiness structured data is present.
- Produces a Fit Score from 0 to 100 derived from those measurements. When a listing has no
  website, no score is given and the record states that it was not measurable.
- Tracks outreach on a Kanban board with user-defined stages.
- Sends three-step email sequences through the user's own SMTP provider. A sequence stops
  as soon as someone replies.

## What it does not do

- It does not estimate a revenue figure from a slow page. No conversion loss is calculated.
- It does not query or report local pack ranking position.
- It does not claim accuracy figures, uptime figures or reply rates, because none are measured.
- It has no aggregate user rating. There are no collected reviews.
